It's Our Faught Obama Will Ruin Our Country: My Response

(original e-mail is in  bold underline)

Before I say anything, let me apologize if Dale forwarded your e-mail to me against your wishes.   He was correct however in that, "I may have something to say about the matter."      Ron Paul's notions really are very solid thinking, but few Americans paid sufficient attention to those ideas.  Just maybe, "few" paid attention because the "establishment" GOP, who have been instrumental in destroying our constitutional liberties, entangling us in unconstitutional military conflicts around the world, and fanned the fires of debt spending, systematically ignored, cheated, and otherwise minimized his message, along with the presstitutes who consistently displayed incorrect charts and results from polls and elections.

It's easier to just go for a quick sound byte here and there. His message never rose above about 1% or 2% in the Republican primary process.
Not sure where you got 1 or 2 %?  He actually won about 8 states, inspite of the irregularities that have caused major splits within state GOP memberships.

In November, assorted constituencies that should have showed up and voted Republican stayed home because the Republican nominee was insufficiently pure to suit their tastes.  The assorted libertarians and tea party types who figured there wasn't much difference between Democrats and Republicans handed the election to the Dems by staying home.  We did not hand Obama the election.  Your party rejected a major movement that fought hard to restore your Good Old Ploys back to the "constitution", but you would have no part of it.  I don't recall you stepping up to give Dr. Paul any words of support.  You have been "blah" on Dr. Paul's message of constitutional liberty, and we know what Jesus says about those who treat truth in this manner.

We will be reaping the output of that sin of omission for decades to come.
If this means you seriously blame the only energetic movement in the GOP that was cheated in the primaries, and at the convention.  They changed the rules, and rigged the vote to keep Dr. Paul's name from being nominated from the floor.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ_ylYNbAlY&noredirect=1  Have you no shame???  It's not a sin of omission.  It is a sin against constitutional authority, fiscal responsibility, and TRUTH.

You and I will both die with abortion-on-demand still the "law of the land."  I had hoped to see the day when abortion was finally banished, but I wont live that long.
Oh, and lets not forget abortion and conscience.  I personally am sickened by the duplicity of you self righteous victims, who ignored the one true candidate who stood for constitutional freedoms.  Check out the early EWTN primary coverage on Raymond Arroyo.  In at least three or four segments, he mentioned every bottom feeder but not Dr. Paul.  In later shows he interviewed much of the dead wood, but not Dr. Paul.  We finally stopped watching and have not since.  No shame?????

The financial insanity of Obama will continue, running up huge debts that can never be paid off, and which no possible Federal-Reserve policy can patch up.  Financial???  Dr. Paul wrote the book on the immoral fiscal direction our country is taking, and please don't pretend that debt spending and lack of control of the private banking cabal, known as the Federal Reserve, is Obama's invention.  You guys spend my great grandkids money on warfare, and they spend it of  welfare.  Both are immoral, and Ron Paul has been the leader in stopping this theft.

If Ron Paul had tried hard to get his libertarian followers to vote for Romney, the nation's future might not be so gloomy. Instead, Ron Paul gives a farewell speech saying "I told you so" and goes away with his full-pay Congressional   You Son-Of A Bitch!  This man has spent much of his professional life delivering babies and trying to bring our country back on the constitutional track.  He has never taken a lobbyest trip, has voted against many unconstitutional bills many times by himself, and has received more donations from military than all the other candidates together.  He did tell us so!  It is you, and your establishment GOP types, who are responsible for turning a blind eye to the prophetic voice of Consitutional restraints on government.  Truth comes to us in many forms, and Christ himself identifies himself as truth.  Your party rejected a humble man who spoke the truth.  May God have mercy on your soul.

Soliloquy of a Leaf

Ask’em, they’ll tell you.
   They’ll tell you, they’re here.
Just try’em, they’ll answer.
   They’re angels; don’t fear.

So jogging one day,
   Through a brisk autumn breeze,
I challenged my angel;
   His test, my tease.

What I asked for was simple,
   Not majestic, not grand,
“Just put a leaf,
   Right in my hand?”

My jog for two miles,
   Was busy that day.
The leaves, they were falling,
   Along the whole way.

So I ran and I prayed,
   Through this myriad of leaves,
But they seemed to move from me,
   As though I; a breeze.

A little dejected,
   A little chagrined,
I’d tested my angel,
   A negative quest in.

The next day I jogged,
   Was calm as could be,
A rare leaf would fall,
If you were looking to see.

I jogged up the first half,
   With rosary I prayed,
And started for home,
To the rest of my day.

Then rounding a bend,
   Through a canopied stretch,
I wondered, my testing,
   I’m an angelic wretch?

Then there, to the right,
   Some twenty feet high,
A leaf falling freely,
   Yet leading my stride.

I kept my same motion,
   No sprint, no delay.
My right hand just turned,
   To catch, angel’s play.

A leaf from my angel,
As I held to my course,
They’re angels, they’ll answer,
   Be patient with yours.

Mark Grannis: The Only Qualified Candidate!

A friend of mine recently landed a job after a long search.  It was not because he did not know what he was doing.  He was over-qualified.  The jobs he was applying for, only required a Bachelors degree, but he had Masters.  This is precisely why I have concluded that Grannis is the only qualified candidate for House of Representatives in Maryland’s eighth district.

Timmerman, the Republican challenger, is obviously overqualified, and should really be running the State Department, or at least the CIA.  He has spent his entire campaign contradicting the conclusion of the head of U.S. Intelligence, Mr. Clapper, and the 16 separate agencies that deal with international intelligence.  These intelligence experts have repeatedly reported that Iran, who has signed the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty, has not developed, nor is there an indication that they will develop a nuclear weapon.  Yet, Mr. Timmerman credits his insight as an “investigative reporter”, that Iran is developing a nuc.

Across the isle, our incumbent, Mr. Van Hollen, has shown an amazing ability to reinterpret the true meaning of our constitution.  The congressman has read into, and through, the lines of Article 1 section 8.  He evidently has found authority for the U.S. Congress to force health insurance on the citizenry with Obamacare, to fund our national indoctrination under the label of education, and to promote a Green Bank and climate control.

Mark Grannis though, is an attorney who works under the premise that the constitution is the core law, that the words mean what they say, and that you cannot change their meaning without amending the constitution.  He also believes that our intelligence agencies may know a bit more than Mr. Timmerman, and that our military ventures and saber rattling actually make the world less safe.  He does not have a master’s degree in investigative reporting or social engineering.  He is the only qualified candidate for House of Representatives in District 8.

Vote “No” to Charter

October’s Emmitsburg News Journal (ENJ), front page story, “Voters asked to choose on charter government”, should have been buried in the Commentary section, if printed at all.  The article references the “Charter Education Coalition” as “a committee established to provide unbiased facts to the public”.  This is simply not the case.  When former County Commissioner Kai Hagen was asked about the “unbiased” Coalition, he said, “It’s a bunch of baloney, of course they are biased.”

To make a proper judgement on this issue we might want to hear from the County Government Education Coalition. If there were such a group, I imagine they would start by informing these snake oil charter salesmen: that we have constitutional representatives in Annapolis, that our county autonomy is currently under aggressive attack by the state, and that our sheriff is just fine.

The headline story bemoans the lack of a “single voice” for Frederick County in Annapolis.  Why then, do we send state delegates and state senators from Frederick County to Annapolis every session?  Just because other counties wish to expand their executive bureaucracies, Frederick County should not be pressured into changing something that works fine.  If the Governor wishes to hold meetings that exclude counties that believe the best government is a lean government, so be it.

How the Emmitsburg News Journal could print fabrication such as “...Under the charter, the county is granted autonomy from the state, and gains complete control over county policies and procedures”, is disappointing.  This Charter group and ENJ must not have been aware of the biggest state power grab in recent history, Plan Maryland?  Under Plan Maryland the state has reduced private owner property rights to an all time low, and the state has seized control of planning from county governments: charter and non-charter alike.  Commissioner Kirby Delauter had an informative piece in the same issue which highlighted this power grab of Plan Maryland, and identified it’s United Nations origin.

The confusion peaks in this front page Op-Ed with a statement which placed the county commissioners in the legislative and executive branches.  The commissioners are not the lead in the executive branch of Frederick County government.  Contrary to their blurred vision, there is a separation of the legislative and executive branches of government. The Sheriff is the highest executive in the county and he answers directly to the people at the polls.  The sheriff is the personification of the separation of powers, in that the sheriff stands by the constitution to protect we the people, not the political powers of the legislative or judicial branches.  Sheriffs are under attack throughout our nation and destroying the constitutional power of our sheriff may actually be what this charter is about

Frederick County’s constitutional, “non-charter”, form of government has been in existence for centuries.  The top leadership roles of the executive branch are defined as enforcing the laws and managing the bureaucracy.  The sheriff has handled law enforcement in Frederick County just fine.  But, if you want larger government, larger tax bills, a county police force, and larger bureaucracy: buy the snake oil, and vote for the charter.

Cold Day In Hell

We wrote this letter in response to a large bill board and multiple signs for Timmerman.

Mr. Fitzgerald
Owner of the Shamrock Restaurant
7701 Fitzgerald Rd
Thurmont, MD, 21788
                                                                September 23, 2012
Mr. Fitzgerald:

As a Christian, I am compelled to let you know of my disgust for your support of Timmerman for Congress.  I wrote your daughter two months ago, but never received a response.  Every time my wife and I travel on Rt 15, we are befuddled by your support of this candidate in the 8th district.

Mr. Timmerman has based his campaign on Iran having a nuclear bomb.  As I wrote Dawn, “Timmerman ran a campaign based on his knowing more than the head of U.S. Intelligence, James Clapper, and a report from the top 16 Intelligence agencies in our country.  They have repeatedly stated that Iran does not have, and will not have, nuclear bomb capability."   Iran does however, have a right to develop nuclear energy because they signed the nuclear proliferation treaty; something Israel has not signed.

Mr. Timmerman boasts of being an “investigative reporter”.   Barbara Walters, Glen Beck, and a number of political entertainers who have an agenda, are also investigative reporters.  I see Mr. Timmerman as a typical Neo-Con, who wants more wars and less individual liberty.  He is a Zionist war monger.  He considers the Patriot Act, which is the most vicious attack on our 4th amendment rights, to be fine.

In the past, you have been supportive of patriotic candidates like myself and Ron Paul.  It bothers us to see your support for Timmerman, and although we are grateful for your earlier support, it will be a cold day in hell before we have dinner at the Shamrock.

Disappointed,

Mike & Jane Hargadon

Letter to the Editor of the Wanderer

Wanderer:

I was astounded to find that, “F.A. von Hayek and Ludwig von Mises were not household names, that is, until Mitt Romney named Cong. Paul Ryan as his presidential running mate.”  (Wanderer Sept 6th).  Why on earth would that be?  Ryan’s idea of a cut, is to cut a proposed increase, and he has no cuts for our military empire.  I have been a follower of Dr. Ron Paul for six years.  I mentioned Hayek’s name in my 2008 congressional stump speech, and I have had several friends travel south to attend the Mises’s Institute.  Maybe Dr. Dougherty has her Paul’s confused?

In 2010, the Republican Liberty Caucus of Wisconsin published a detailed analysis of Paul Ryan’s voting record that would make President Obama proud. Ryan voted yes on TARP, the 2008 stimulus, the GM and Chrysler bailouts, Medicare Part D, Head Start, an extension of unemployment benefits, No Child Left Behind, and the raising of the debt ceiling.  These are hardly examples of responsible spending.

How this political creative writing merited a top page in your great paper is a mystery.  Does a higher degree in Philosophy allow someone to misrepresent two great economists?

Maybe One Goat In Hell?

For years now, I have taken exception with several priests, who have insisted on characterizing goats as stubborn, mischievous, and evil.  They seem to fall into this error, as they try to unpack Christ's parable of the final judgement. Matthew 26: 32, 33  "And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left."  Those on the left are later banished, "Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."  Matt. 26:42

My complaint is that Christ's point is simply that there is a difference: a difference between a goat and a sheep, as there is a difference between someone who lives for Christ, and someone who does not.  The urban view of goats just naturally makes an easy target for a homily on unacceptable behavior, which is bound to land you in hell.  For the most part though, I have found goats to be good natured, trainable, and humorous.   I have raised both sheep and goats, and if I had to send either to hell, it would surely be the sheep, with one exception, "Redneck".

I started writing this blog at 2:30 am after returning from my dental office, where I cut-off my wedding ban of 37 years.  Earlier in the day I had attempted to give two of my three goats their worming medicine.  Redneck, named for her reddish brown neck on her otherwise white coat, has always been a tad skittish.  I had her penned in a stall.  Just as I grabbed her collar, she broke away, and jammed my ring finger.  It hurt, but I hoped I could walk it off.  I kept hoping until pain woke me at 1:30 a.m., and my ring was obviously tighter against the slightly swollen finger.  Luckily I have high speed drills at my office, in which a diamond-chip burr cuts through metal rather easily.

I will always take exception to this common clerical cut on goats, but if I am unable to register my complaint, I'll just figure he's referring to Redneck.

We Found Officer Friendly!

I may have become a wee bit cinical in dealing with this police state that we find ourselves in, today.  Many of my repostings of middle of the night warantless house assaults, youtubes showing police using excessive force, and the routine appearance of military clad crowd control police officers have often ended with, "Have you seen officer friendly?"

Officer friendly was a P.R. push years back, directed at a softer, more human image of our local law enforcement.  I could relate, because my dad was a Baltimore City Police Sargent for twenty-some years.  The man who held our hand to cross the street, or sang "Stinky River Rock" on our way to the beach, was the same man who went to work each day carrying a 38.

The Baltimore Police were also respected.  During the College Park anti-Vietnam War demonstrations that blocked U.S. 1, the state was failing at clearing the street, to allow traffic to flow.  Day after day the students would crowd blocks of this major thoroughfare connecting Baltimore and Washington.  They tried the National Guard, and they tried county police, but to no avail.  Then they brought in three cheese buses full of Baltimore City Police: no riot gear, no military get-up.  The crowds dispersed.

This past Sunday, Jane and I accompanied about eighty-some pilgrims into West Baltimore City for the Religious Freedom Walk.  As we took a rest stop, at a McDonald's on Warwick and Rt 40 in a rather tough area, our R.V., which had been following and calming the traffic, was pushed off of the main drag by the Baltimore City Police.  The officer approached our leaders and asked what we were doing.  He quickly called for a squad car to give us an escort.  The officer quickly went about blocking intersections as our block long line of pilgrims walked our last two miles.  As we reached our destination, for some it was their 100th mile, I made a point of establishing eye contact with the officer, as he blocked a huge intersection, and said "Thank you!"  He smiled, and you could tell, he was glad to help.  I found "Officer Friendly".

Strike Two!

                                                                               June 27, 2012
Gary Kelly, CEO,
Southwest Airlines,
2702 Love Field Drive,
Dallas, TX 75235

Mr Kelly:

My husband and I used to be frequent flyers up until about two years ago when TSA introduced the new scanners or pat-downs for those refusing to be x-rayed.  We have children and grandchildren living in Chicago, Dayton, Indianapolis and Nashville (we live in Maryland, and fly out of BWI).  All cities served by SWA and/or Air Tran.  We used to love to fly to visit them until, as I said, TSA got out of control.  We always said if we did not have to go through security manned by TSA we would love to fly again and your airline would be our choice.  That was until we received the latest edition of Life Decision International’s Boycott List and your company was on there.  Your company is there because donations made to Planned Parenthood.  I was shocked to learn that such a family oriented and customer friendly company such as yours would choose to donate to such a vile organization.  They are the largest abortion provider in the US, and they would like to be international.

My husband and I are pro-life and try to boycott any company on the list.  Just recently Bob Evans was on the list and there was such an outcry from the pro-life crowd that they quickly changed their policy and now are off the list.  I implore you to do the same.

Our children are planning to come to our home this year for Christmas and I will encourage them to give their money to another airline to travel here.  They will have lots of other options as your company is the only airline on the list.  Please stop funding Planned Parenthood!

Thank you for your time,

NO WAKE!

When I was younger, I did the one thing that many residents in the Chesapeake Bay area dream of: I bought a boat. For many, the two happiest days are when you buy a boat, and when you sell it. Between those two days there is great fun, but there are also rules. One very common rule is: ”No Wake!”. Simply put, this means that if you race your engine which produces waves in creeks that damage docked boats or land areas, you will be held responsible. This damage can be significant enough that some land owners have built bulkheads in the water, to break the wave action before it reaches their docks.

We land owners also love to complain about the waves of tyranny, the swells of war, and economic white caps. Just as there are marine laws, there are government rules. Our constitution is our primary rule, and exists to avoid the damaging governmental wake. The constitution also provides a bulkhead, in our Bill of Rights, to protect us from our government.

This same sense of accountability for boaters sending walls of water onto people’s property, also applies to voters in electing “leaders” to represent us, and defend our constitution . If we elect candidates out of willful ignorance, laziness, or in defiance of our common sense, we become accomplices to government abuse and the destruction it creates. An obvious example is the Iraq War.

Only few, like Pope John Paul II or Ron Paul, spoke-out emphatically against this unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation. Now, many more try to distance themselves from this futile mistake: a mistake that has left over 115,000 civilians, (men, women and children) dead, just from violence in the anarchy that developed when we invaded Iraq, and dismantled their police force. We were lied to by our government, and terrorized by our main stream media (MSM). Ultimately, there were no weapons of mass destruction (WMD). There are indications that we were being sold this undeclared war, through later reported intelligence briefs, and the inability to find any WMD.

We will be held accountable by God for this destructive wake of humanity. If our upcoming vote is based solely on the tripe we are fed from the major media outlets, than we might consider not voting. We may have become MSM zombies, fed on a diet of partial truth, deletions, and lies. This crisis of truth spreads all the way to our national candidates. Mitt Romney, in a 2008 televised debate, stated that we went to war with Iraq because, “Iraq would not allow the U.N. inspectors into the country”. The truth is, we had to tell the inspectors to get out of Iraq, because the decision had been made that we were going to invade. Do you want this guy running our ship-of-state?

If we learned anything, it should be that we cannot trust the MSM. Before we vote, we need to educate ourselves, and do our own research. In Tuesday’s primary, Santorum is being sold as a fiscal and social conservative, when his record says different. He expanded the size of government five times, by voting to increase the debt ceiling. He sold-out his life principles when he endorsed pro-abort Specter over a proven pro-lifer. He voted for No Child Left Behind and Medicare Part B. He weakened our second amendment bulkhead with his endorsement of anti-gun Specter, and passed federal gun control schemes and regulations. He trashed our Bill of Rights by voting for the Patriot Act and re-authorizations, which removed our 4th amendment bulkhead. Santorum expressed delight with the assassination of scientists in sovereign nations, thereby taking a plank from the bulkhead of due process. If a candidate’s record does not fit the sales pitch, reject him. You will be responsible for the damage in his wake.

In Frederick County, our vote for president, may be as important as who we elect for the House of Representatives in the new 8th district. For the hard core Republican constitutional conservative, who is tired of these endless wars, there is really only one choice.

I believe Shelly Skolnick removes himself from the conservative pool, by labeling himself as a moderate. Timmerman openly preaches that we have been at war with Iran since the Jimmy Carter hostage days. One has to wonder what other countries we have been at war with? He boasts of being an “investigative reporter” as if that position is second only to the author of the Bible. I guess his investigation missed the report from the head of U.S. intelligence, James Clapper and16 U.S. intelligence agencies, that Iran is not a nuclear threat. He also believes the Patriot Act, which stripped our 4th amendment bulkhead, is necessary. Mr. Wallace is your typical establishment Republican. One of those who liked the way Ron Paul spoke of liberty, so they hijacked his tea party. They learned how to say “liberty”, but never managed to say “peace”.
Gus Alzona however, makes no attempts to dodge the issues. He agrees with Ron Paul to bring our troops home. He has personally seen the evil that lurks in the belly of the Federal Reserve and he wants it exposed. As a past two term Montgomery County Republican Central Committeeman, he knows the state GOP machine. Gus is outspoken about the attack on our traditional morals, and as a first generation immigrant, he understands our nation’s immigration problem.

Let’s stop this destructive governmental wake. Vote for candidates who will enforce our constitution, and insist on protection from our Bill of Rights.

Beautiful Woman Tells Off Catholic Channel Establishment Shill, for Ron Paul!

Raymond Arroyo:

I turned on my radio this morning while doing some work around the kitchen. It was around 9AM. I am not usually home at that time of day and thought I would see what was on our local talk radio station, WFMD in Frederick MD. I heard your voice and thought that I had put on EWTN radio instead. I checked the station and it was the one I had originally thought. Then I heard you say you were filling in for Laura Ingraham. I decided I would listen and see what you had to say.

The longer I listened, the more upset I became. I listened to you talk about the GOP race: Romney, Gingrich, Santorum. I continued to listen: Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, again. No mention of Dr Ron Paul. I think you and all of the other Main Stream Media (MSM) do your listeners a tremendous disservice by totally ignoring this honest, consistent, and humble man. All of the media has written him off as “unelectable”, and therefore act as if he does not exist. I would like to decide for myself whom to vote for, and I am sure most people would agree with me.

Some people we have talked to, don’t even know he is running! Gee, I wonder why that is? Could it be that the fourth estate have already decided for us?

I get my news from non-MSM sources, therefore I feel it is more honest. The most recent poll I have seen shows that the only GOP candidate that can beat Obama is Ron Paul. My husband and I love to watch EWTN, but we have not been able to sit through your show anymore in the last few months because we feel that you are less than fair in this election season.

I will pray for you and I pray for God’s mercy on our country everyday. I feel that Dr Paul is our only hope. If he is not on the ballot in November, I will not be voting. Thank you for your time.

Alzona Is the Obvious Pick!

Editor:

Republican voters in the District 8 portion of Frederick County are fortunate in this upcoming election. For the hard core constitutional conservative who is tired of these endless wars, there is really only one choice: Gus Alzona.
Shelly Skolnick removes himself from the conservative pool by labeling himself as a moderate.
Timmerman openly preaches that we have been at war with Iran since the Jimmy Carter hostage days, and he is serious. One has to wonder what other countries we have been at war with, in Mr. Timmerman’s mind? Despite a conclusive report from the head of 16 intelligence agencies, that Iran is not a nuclear threat, Mr. Timmerman seems hell bent on making this perceived war a reality.
Mr. Wallace is your typical establishment republican. You know, the bunch who liked the way Ron Paul spoke of liberty, so they hijacked his tea party. They learned how to say “liberty”, but never managed to say “peace”. Wallace has received an endorsement from a state delegate for his position on national defense, but his issues page fails to mention what his position is. Could it be that his hawk feathers might sour some at his tea party?
Gus Alzona makes no attempts to dodge the issues. He is in the Ron Paul camp and wants our troops home. He has personally seen the evil that lurks in the belly of the Federal Reserve and he wants it exposed. He knows the state GOP machine, in that he has been on the Montgomery County Republican Central Committee for two terms. Gus is outspoken about the attack on our traditional morals, and as a first generation immigrant, he understands our nation’s immigration problem.
We have an opportunity in this new District 8 to send a peace loving conservative who understands that our government needs to be chained down by our constitution. Let’s win against Van Hollen Let’s win a seat for true liberty! Vote Gus Alzona.
