The Thaw, a Great Priest and a Brave Sheriff.

The days are getting longer which means we are coming out of this winter. Today, it got dark at 6:00 pm. The snow is slow to go, and gets dirtier with each passing day. The dental schedule has dropped off, and predictions for more snow early this week will not help the production figures. One person explained that the Farmer's Almanac is calling for another big snow fall before the winter is over. I recall that most of our blizzards in the past came in early March, so why not?
I heard today the Fr. Ed Bayer died. He was a great priest who was a little cerebral, which made him a good teacher. He traveled to the other side of the world to teach in a seminary when most people would have been looking for a rocker. While he was the pastor at Holy Family Church he became familiar with the conflict between my sister and my parents, against the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He took it upon himself to write the Chancellery, and had words with their office, because he expressed concern for the diocese's handling of my family's situation. A mysterious reader has commented with the funeral arrangements.
We are firming up the event of bringing Richard Mack to Maryland to give a talk on states' rights and the need for sheriffs to step-up. We also want to use the event to bring liberty minded people together, as well as to bring people to SAP. This is an answered prayer for Maryland.
